    The main elements of this job include:

    • Keeping the coffee hot

    • Making sure baked goods are available

    • Chatting with customers about upcoming events, island information or other questions!

    • Maintaining a clean work environment

    On occasion you may be asked to help with other tasks that further the mission of Waterman’s Community Center.

  • Join our Cleaning Staff!

    At Waterman’s we take great pride in providing a beautiful, welcoming, clean space for the community to enjoy. The WCC building and classrooms require regular daily cleaning to ensure that the spaces are ready to go for the various camps, concerts, presentations and gatherings we host.  We LOVE having great cleaners!

    The main elements of this job include:

    • Vacuuming

    • Bathroom Cleaning

    • Washing floors

    • Dusting 

    • General cleaning tasks

    Hours for this position a quite flexible. Some work can be when Waterman’s is open, and some (like floors) must be done when Community Center is not in use. We are happy to work with the right candidate on a flexible schedule that works well with other jobs or commitments.

Start and end dates for summer positions vary, but we have positions available from mid-June until late August; year round positions are available as well, well… year-round!
