Registration
Summer camp families: due to an unforeseen system change in Brightwheel we have to postpone camp registration to Thursday, March 5th at 10am. Unfortunately, this change requires us to add your children to the platform before registration, so we want to give families a few extra days to send the name and age of their child to Lucy (watermansyouthleader@gmail.com). She will create a profile for your student, send you the access code, and then you will be able to register for camp through the Brightwheel registration form link on the camp registration page of our website. We apologize for the inconvenience!

Morning Session (8am-12pm) 2026 Camp Groups
Summer Urchins (ages 2-3)
The Summer Urchins are our smallest and youngest members of Waterman’s Community Center. The age range for this group is from 2 to 3 years old. The Summer Urchins spend their days singing, dancing, and exploring the neighborhood around them. Weekly themes are used as guides for activities and projects. Oftentimes the Summer Urchins meet up and play with their friends who belong to the School of Fish. So, if you happen to walk by Mill Street, wave hello to them! **Note: Urchins campers must have previous experience in a childcare setting.
School of Fish (ages 3-4)
The School of Fish crew are the oldest preschool students at Waterman’s, ages 3–4-year-old. Many of them are preparing for their big step to kindergarten. Each week follows a theme which the books, activities and art projects are based around. During the summer, the classroom welcomes both summer and and year-round families to be a part of the summer adventures. Days are spent exploring Ferry Landing Beach, Sage Woods and checking in on their Summer Urchin friends on the playground. **Note: School of Fish campers must be potty trained to participate.
Art & Adventures (ages 5-8)
The Arts & Adventure students are ages 5-8 and the island is their classroom. Each week has a theme that guides their projects, trips, activities, and learning. Year-round and summer children explore and learn about the island together through art projects, beach trips, and collaboration with community members and businesses.
Afternoon Session (12pm-4pm) 2026 Camp Groups
AfterCare Program
Year-round families who belong to the School of Fish and Summer Urchins programs can be a part of AfterCare. AfterCare is Monday to Thursday from 12-4. Lunch must be sent with children and a child must either rest or stay on their cot during rest hour.
BIG Afternoon
For campers ages 5-8 after the normal camp day. During this time campers will have lunch (packed by families) time to play, quiet time, and more adventures!

***NOTE: This year, because of holidays and school schedules, Little Urchins (ages 1-3) and School of Fish (ages 3-4) will begin June 15th and run through August 21st (10 weeks). Arts & Adventure (ages 5-8) will begin June 22nd and run through August 21st (9 weeks) with the possibility for a 10th week depending on interest.
