Summer Camps

Sea Urchins - ages 1 -3

The Little Urchins are our smallest and youngest members of the Waterman’s community center. The ages range from 1 to 3, and currently at maximum capacity with its year-round families, which is 12 students. The Little Urchins spend their days singing and dancing and exploring their neighborhood around them. Weekly themes are used as guides for activities and projects.

School of fish- ages 3-4

School of Fish is a summer day camp offered to children on North Haven 3 to 4 years old. Camp themes, such as Creative Kitchen, Music Makers, Pirate Week, and Fins & Feathers, change weekly and encourage learning, sensory development, social skills and self-discovery.

Arts & Adventure - ages 5-8

The Arts & Adventure students are ages 5-8, the island is their classroom. Every week the students have a theme to where they are spending time, what they are learning and how the day is filled. People from the community might also join in to help teach and show both island families and visiting families a little bit more about North Haven and its history and community.

Administration Coffee Shop

House Manager

We have filled the position!

Waterman’s is seeking an enthusiastic House Manager with strong leadership, organization, and communication skills and a passion for the arts! Technical theater skills are preferred, but not required.

Approximate Hours: 25-30 hours/week, including evenings and weekends.

Approximate Schedule: June 21–August 27, 10 full weeks.

Pay is dependent on previous experience.

Coffee Shop Attendant

Waterman’s is searching for a hard-working, friendly, and energetic coffee shop closer worker. Workers must be dedicated to exceptional customer service and community appropriateness. The coffee shop is open Monday - Sunday 7 am to 4 pm. The main elements of this job would be to make sure that the coffee is hot and baked goods are available, all while chatting with customers about upcoming events or other questions!
