PART-TIME PROGRAMS & EVENTS MANAGER

 

Waterman’s Community Center, a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation in North Haven, Maine, is seeking a hard-working, energetic, and creative Programs and Events Manager. Applicant should be a versatile professional with an appreciation of the high level of community involvement needed for this undertaking to be successful.

 

Position requires devotion to the arts, computer/internet proficiency on numerous platforms, strong organizational and writing skills, basic knowledge of theater sound & lighting equipment, and interpersonal skills with people of all ages as well as a passion to see Waterman’s thrive. Experience in non-profit or organizational programing strongly suggested but not required.

 

Job Details:

·         Hours: Part-time, 20 -25 hours/week, including some weekend and evening hours. Schedule flexibility a must.

·         Duties: Organize, facilitate, promote and budget all of the exceptionally creative and educational programming the North Haven community has come to expect from Waterman’s Community Center.

·         Pay: Hourly ($15 - $17), dependent on credentials and experience

·         Application deadline: As soon as suitable applicant is found.

Suggested but not required:

·         College Degree
