Waterman's has a robust program year-round for all ages and we absolutely cannot do it without our staff. Start and end dates for seasonal positions vary and are detailed in their individual descriptions, but they are generally open from mid June to late August; year-round positions are available any time. If you are interested in being part of our team, read about the available positions below:

Youth Activities Leader - The Youth Activities Leader is responsible for running many of the after school and evening programming that Waterman's offers for children. The Activities Leader will work with with the Programs Coordinator to create engaging activities for North Haven's youth. This is a year round position. House Manager - The primary focus of this internship-based position includes running and organizing events including concerts, lectures, and film screenings at Waterman's as well as coordinating art exhibits and workshops. Intern: Summer Coffee Shop - Coffee shop interns are the face of Waterman's. They make it possible to keep our doors open seven days a week during the summer. Waterman's depends on interns to be flexible, motivated, and creative. Click here for a complete description and application.

Intern: Summer Camps - Summer camp interns make it possible for Waterman's to offer a diverse range of programing for North Haven's kids. Island Explorers Assistant Leader - Island Explorers is one of our popular summer camps. It is offered for children ages 6-9 and aims to inspire deeper engagement with the natural world. Campers go on daily excursions to gain a better understanding of their natural environment. School of Fish Assistant Leader - Waterman's is looking for a flexible, motivated, and creative person to be the second in command for our School of Fish camp.
