Summer Youth Programs

Every summer Waterman's offers a blend of new and returning programs for the island's young people. Week long summer camps, short workshops, community theater opportunities, youth-centric events, and family fun will keep you connected to this unique community! Waterman's strives to provide creative, engaging, and enriching summer activities for kids of all ages. Check out what we have planned!

Island Explorers Camp (ages 6 - 9)

One of our most popular programs, Island Explorers, has been a staple of Waterman's offerings. Led by Amilia Campbell, the campers are outside, rain or shine, discovering the wonders of North Haven and it's rich coastal ecology. With adventures on Mullen's Head, local farms, nearby Burnt Island, and countless trails and beaches the island becomes as familiar to kids as their own backyard. Expect a balance of structured learning and the freedom to explore!

School of Fish Camp (ages 3 - 5)

With weekly themes like Sound & Song, Active Island, and Creative Kitchen, Waterman's School of Fish campers are  encouraged to learn and discovery by doing. Children will explore the classroom, visit near-by beaches and trails on foot, and learn and discover through art and  projects - and meet lots of new friends!

Little Urchins Camp (ages 1 - 3)

With walks in the woods, outdoor time on the Little Urchins playground and garden, and so much more, our Little Urchins camp makes sure North Haven's youngest population experience the wonders of summer.
