Kindermusik® Family Time Class starts THIS Tuesday (January 26) at 8:30am on Waterman’s stage. If you haven’t already signed up but would like to join, please call Christie.
This Week’s Special Events and Notes
•Afterschool Grades K-4 Monday, January 25th, 3:15-4:30pm Beaded Necklace and Friendship Bracelet Making: We will pick out beads to string our own necklace designs and learn how to knot a simple friendship bracelet. These beautiful creations can be kept or shared with others!
• Craft Night Monday, January 25th, 7:00pm Come down to WCC for crafts and snacks!
• Kindermusik Family Time Class Tuesday, January 26th, 8:30am Join Christie on the Waterman’s stage to begin the Here, There, and Everywhere Kindermusik unit. Please wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to get up and down off the floor with your child.
• Programs Committee Meeting Tuesday, January 26th, 4:00pm We will meet upstairs in the conference room this week!
• The Biggest Loser on the big screen Tuesday, January 26th, 8:00-10:00pm There have been some requests to have this popular show played at WCC- if you aren’t hooked yet, this is your chance!
• Senior Coffee Thursday, January 28th, 9:00am
• SHOUT Afterschool Grades 5 & 6 Thursday, January 28th, 3:15-4:30pm We will continue with our theater unit by writing our own plays. Bring your ideas in!
• Friday Afternoon Movie Friday, January 29th, 1:00pm Matilda: Cursed with obtuse parents (Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman) and a martinet school principal (Pam Ferris), precocious 6-year-old Matilda Wormwood (Mara Wilson) immerses herself in a world of books. With so much mental stimulation, she acquires telekinetic abilities -- which she promptly unleashes on her self-absorbed family and odious headmistress in this wry fantasy. Suggested Donation: $1
• Saturday Night Movie Saturday, January 30th, 7:30pm- WATCH FOR SIGNS!!! Suggested donation: $5 adults, $3 students
• TEEN NIGHT Grades 6 & 7 Sunday, January 31st 6:00-8:00pm Movie, ping-pong, and pizza!
***Auditions for the North Haven Community Spring Production A Doll’s House by playwright Henrik Ibsen, will be held Monday, March 15th at 6:00pm. There are 4 parts for women, 4 parts for men, and three small parts for children. All are welcome to audition! If you have questions or need to reschedule an auditioning time, please contact director Courtney Naliboff. The show will be performed on the Waterman’s stage May 14, 15, and 16***
