• Part-time job available at Waterman’s Community Center: Early Bird Coffee Shop Opener – 3 days a week, from 6:45-7:45 or 8:45am. • SHOUT Afterschool Grades 5 & 6 Thursday, October 15  3:15-4:30pm This week we will finish writing articles and edit them with other SHOUT members for our spoof newspaper then we will go up to the playground to try out some new team building games.



• Fall Expedition Potluck and Presentation Thursday, October 15, 6:00pm- NHCS students will give a presentation about the September Fall Field Study. Come enjoy a meal, hear about their exciting trip, and meet some Bowdoin Students!  



• Laugh & Learn Preschool: Little Urchins Friday, October 16  9:00am-12:00pm Ages 18 months to 3 years



• Saturday Night Movie: Coraline Saturday, October 17, 7:30pm In this breathtaking stop-motion animation based on Neil Gaiman's novel, curious young Coraline (voiced by Dakota Fanning) unlocks a door in her family's home and is transported to a universe that strangely resembles her own -- only better. But when her Other Mother (Teri Hatcher) doesn't want Coraline to return to reality, our heroine must summon an amazing amount of courage to go home and save her family.

Coming Events...

Wednesday, October 21- Galapagos Islands & People of the Andes Presentation with Herb Parsons-

This slide presentation will look at the almost tame creatures and beautiful setting that contributed so much to Darwin’s theory of evolution, and also at the people, textiles, and music of the highlands of Ecuador. For all Ages- about one hour in length.


Friday, October 22- KIDS’ NIGHT OUT 6:00-8:00pm- Come do a craft project, eat some food, and watch Monsters vs. Aliens!
